We are definitely getting tons of exposure due to Strasburg. We have the most losses in the top 25, but still ranked high. I think this team will continue to get better as it builds confidence and the young guys gain more experience. It's looking really good for Aztec baseball!

No Red Jerseys

One thing I omitted from my thread on Saturday's practice was there were no QBs wearing red jerseys, which traditionally signal "hands-off" or "go easy." Long went against tradition and dressed normal players in red and had the QBs wear blue, probably the chief reason why he was such a failure.

Anyway, I don't think there is anything this staff does unintentionally, so it was interesting to see that QBs are relatively fair game.

U$C has so much talent they can afford to just say to opponents this is what we're going to do, now try to stop us from doing it. SDSU's talent level is a Long way from being able to do that.

Are you serious? Collison is an NBA prospect, Richie is not. Collison shot 39% from 3's this year and a ridiculous 53% last year. Isn't that what we've been missing for the last couple of years? Guards that can consistently make shots.

But I think we can all agree, as Ryan alludes, that a 5'10" PG and 6'0" SG is not a particularly good combination.

A 5'10" PG and a 6'3" SG... not so bad.

*Someone* has to be able to get a contested 3-pt shot over the defender. You just make it a little too easy for you opponent to defend your outside shooting if you're playing small guards.
